Concept for a Cultural – Learning Center as a continuous loop consisting of a set of tectonic elements. The project creates an architectural discourse between solitude and socialization and continuity and discontinuity, towards an ambiguous pleasurable learning process, liberated from any ordered systems. The project constitutes a speculation on learning processes, where architectural form plays a vital role in the social organization and consequently in the cognitive methods. If top down learning processes do not work, could we invent bottom up learning procedures, where the individual by following an existentialist approach, can explore different perspectives of intellectual cultivation through delightful manners. The urban design proposal would suggest a multi directional landscape, where people would drift around freely while getting immersed in the various playful learning processes occurring in its different parts. The recursive forms create a space that would invite the visitor to get lost in a playful knowledgeable process. A loop of creative active learning through diverse scales of interactions and situations would enhance the experience of the individual and would lead towards a more dynamic and pleasing way of learning. The project proposes a new type of cultural learning centre, where visitors are free to explore new learning methods driven in most cases by the pleasure principle, while revolutionizing overabundant top down teaching approaches. An ambiguous learning hub where new ways of spontaneous learning will emerge, while making everyone engaged with the various activities and spaces found on their way.
