The proposal for a sustainable and innovative floating marina drove inspiration from the yacht design industry as well as from the dynamics of the ocean and the surrounding biodiversity.

The design suggests a lightweight modular structure that is made out of recyclable and sustainable materials such as recycled plastic and local wood.

The floating marina is consisted of circulatory platforms and program platforms.

It is designed in a way to be protected from the surrounding winds and waves and to create as much as possible a solid mass that would stand still in any weather conditions.

Its form is optimized to allow maximum sea views for the users and an overall convenient experience, while in the same time protecting their yachts from adverse weather conditions.

By implementing several techniques for energy collection through different energy sources (wind, sea, sun) the marina could be self-sustained.

In the same time the proposal is incorporating water optimization techniques such as water desalination from the sea as well as reusing water for secondary functions such as boat cleansing etc.

Lastly the bar – restaurant of the marina is creating a unique user experience by having a full glass floor and allowing the users to come closer to the ocean.
